Excellent advice for me and my newly BLIND FRIEND... Thank you so much 😊
This is beautifully written and superbly edited. It's just lovely.
Just found your site, guys! Wonderful videos! Seems like so much fun was had by everyone and I'd love to give it a go as a sighted guide some time!
Aw Amar.. love your energy! 🙂Such a lovely video!
More please
Thank you
J
So, I sort of did ok guiding a blind man in Jerusalem not too long ago… I asked if he’d like to take my arm and I let him know when there were gaps in the road for the light rail. I told him about a narrow spot coming up but didn’t drop my arm back to guide him through. This is great if I ever bump into him or anyone else blind in the future 🙂
2:17 Is this the point where you tell the blind person at the top of the steps to step up? LOL.
It really help now I know how to help my son his visually impaired it can be very hard for him. Can't understand why his school says not everyone one needs Cane training 😕 I find it very stupid of his school he goes to a semi blind school. I am from South Africa 🇿🇦

Is the storage bag vomit-proof? I’m concerned about the potential for flashbacks of all this faux-jolly dialog mid pull-along. Oh sorry, not “pull-along”, I meant walk. Easy mistake to make.
You make some good points about how to guide a blind person in particular communication and asking how they like things but this is not a practical product. Maybe it’s useful for walking through open spaces such as beaches and fields but not through busy transport hubs. People would walk into it, potentially break it, take it out your hand. We shouldn’t be giving people reasons not to sighted guide us, understandably this has diminished during the pandemic but now people are out and about again we need to go back to sighted guide where it’s needed. That is ultimately the best way of knowing where you’re going in an unfamiliar environment as it’s the easiest way to feel the other persons movements.
Brilliant video Amar. Hope you’ve been alright during these tough times. Glad you’ve done a video about this cane as I wasn’t aware of it. I’ve not been able to do any walking with my group since October. After the first lockdown they decided to get blind people to wear ramble tags whilst being guided which I am cool with, but they also wanted us to wear masks as well, which I’m not cool with. They said this is because the ramble tags do not put enough distance between the guide and the person being guided. As I am exempt and believe that masks are ineffective, I have dropped out until things ease up a bit. They are a lovely group and I miss them a lot. I did ask about using a bamboo stick as they are about 2 m long but they said this was not an option and wouldn’t be safe. but I wonder now if they would go for this cane. Hope you guys get up and running again soon. I understand how hard it is when you’ve got the powers that be doing U-turns every five minutes. Best wishes - Zoe x
Fantastic ! We had been using bandannas, fine scarves, those little wooded balls on 3 inches of string, whatever was handy for guiding, but this is a wonderful solution. Can't wait to explore with TravelEyes again !
fake af

I would love to meet the maker of this video I am also blind and I’d love to go on a tour but I can’t seem to get the cash for it
That was pretty cool when he asked her to draw the outline. I've never heard of that but I think it's great.
Mr Amar Latiff Allah bless you
Such a nice guy, lovely accent as well.
🌷This was the most wonderful & helpful video🌷thanks🌷
Are you completely blind?
Yes he is.
This is cool!
Can disabled people who are not blind travel with traveleyes?
See flame respect flame, we lern.
Absolutely loved this video & found it extremely helpful! About 2 weeks ago, I encountered a blind guy on campus, saw that he was having trouble walking down the street to eventually cross over, so I decided to help out. I had never encountered anyone like him, so indeed I made a couple mistakes as we walked to class. We have to walk from one building to the other by using the crosswalk with lots of traffic. I felt so bad because upon getting to the building where he was going, after saying bye I said see you around. And immediately regretted that. I know he probably didn’t take it offensively, but I sure as hell felt terrible. I came home watched several videos & I’ve guided him 2 times after that now. This video was far more informative than any of the others I watched. I’ve found myself trying to learn about what his world is like & YT has been a great help! For next time I know, never count the steps🤣
Thank you for your kind words. Amazing to hear people taking the time to support others and I gaurantee your blind friend will encourage you to experience the world in a different way. Take care and remember to Share the Adventure!!
Don't worry, that’s how learning works.
_When I see you again_ 🎶
... does he realize how hot he is?
Great interview. I have posted this on the blind awareness facebook page and recently posted your website on their for those that might be interested :)
Beautiful place. Great video guys. Cheers!

What is wrong with you? Stop being so nasty. It really does you no favours. She is a great presenter.
Wonderful job, beautiful video.
👍👍👍
I was talking to a blind person on a train and helped him a little bit (he actually didn't need my help but I guess he appreciated it anyway). Later I saw him again on a different train and I said "oh.. so we see us again ". I felt so awkward about my remark later.
Thank you amar! I have a friend that is blind that ive known for 5 years now and out of expierience this video will help me alot so when me and my friend go out ill know how to talk and direct him. Thank you again amar and godbless
